Abu Dhabi BJJ Pro to air on TV in Canada

The Fight Network is excited to announce the premiere of the 2009 World Pro Jiu Jitsu Cup in Abu Dhabi.

"We are very excited about the opportunity to showcase the best grappling on the planet on our network," said Ariel Shnerer, The Fight Network's Programming Manager. "With submission grappling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu gaining popularity year after year, we are honoured to be the Canadian home of BJJ."

The 2009 World Pro Jiu Jitsu Cup features the sport's top players competing in an elimination tournament to be recognized as the best in the world.

COLLISION IN THE CAGE

The MMA athletes  Mauro Xuxa e Rodrigo Ruiz (CHECKMAT/WFE) are already in Los Angeles .Both landed in America in companion of the manager  Chris Franco and will have 10 days to adjust  & sharp their skills for the upcoming fights at the main events of COLLISION IN THE CAGE, happening this coming March 19th. “Both athletes will face top & experienced fighters in the tournament but we’re very confident and believing that in both fights we’ll bring positive results to Brazil” – said Leonardo Vieira, Checkmat’s head coach & founder. Leo will follow up with his students training at Checkmat academies in Los Angeles

Mexico now has BJJ Federation

Renzo Gracie Black Belt Mario Delgado announces the creation of the National Federation of Brazilian Jiujitsu of Mexico. Mario is the first presiden! Mario has been busy as he also celebrated the win of the first National No Gi tournament. His team Renzo Gracie Mexico won the team with the points of the nearest competitior.

  • The fee for registration, received from Wednesday, March 10, 2010 - Monday, March 22, 2010 11:59pm is US $98.00.
  • The fee for registration, received from Tuesday, March 23, 2010 - Thursday, April 01, 2010 11:59pm is US $115.00.
