Multiple media sources have reported that a featherweight contest between Bart Palaszewski and Diego Nunes has been added to the upcoming UFC on FX 5 card. The event takes place Sept. 7 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Palaszewski finally made his UFC debut last year, and he shockingly knocked out Tyson Griffin in the first round. The veteran had fought for a variety of promotions including the WEC and IFL before finally fighting for the biggest promotion in the world. Over the course of his long career, "Bartimus" has defeated Anthony Pettis, John Gunderson and Ivan Menjivar. Palaszewski dropped his last outing to Japanese fighter Hatsu Hioki in the UFC's return to the Land of the Rising Sun.

Nunes looked like a solid contender in the featherweight division after winning three-straight fights over Raphael Assuncao, Tyler Toner and former WEC champion Mike Thomas Brown. However, since then, the Brazilian has gone only 1-2. In his last fight, he dropped a unanimous decision to top German talent Dennis Siver.

Bankers Life Fieldhouse is home to the NBA's Indiana Pacers. The UFC has not announced any other contests for this card at time of publication.
