Kris McCray
Fans heading to Atlantic City this weekend for CFFC may want to stay an extra day to catch Classic Sports & Entertainment’s NJ debut Saturday night as the event will not be webcast or televised but holds some interesting matches. CES MMA “War on the Shore” takes place at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
Kris McCray went 0-3 in the UFC but bounced back to pick up three wins including his most recent in Bellator bringing him to 8-3 overall. Now McCray looks to complete his journey back to the Octagon with a victory over Christopher Curtis in the main event of this show. Curtis is relatively unknown outside the Ohio area but brings a 7-2 record to go with his heavy hands, his most recent fight being a decision over Andrew Trace last October.
Mike StewartMike Stewart is one of the few fighters who have fought both in the Atlantic City scene (CFFC, ROC) and the New England scene (CES twice). Now Stewart tries to extend his win streak to four in a row in a fight against Eric Thompson in the co-main event. On paper Thompson doesn’t look like much of a challenge with a record of 7-16 but at least his ten-fight losing streak was stopped with a win in February, the start of his 2-2 record for 2012 so far.
