Fyvie/Carlo-Clauss main event for first Gladius event in New York

ATT do it with Fight Time, Jackson’s MMA do it with JMMAS, now Bombsquad are getting in the business of putting on their own shows with Gladius Fights 1 September 22nd.  These shows are respected as a means of giving the up-and-comers experience, an especially hard task for Bombsquad considering their gym in Ithaca is somewhat far from Atlantic City and other such areas with legal MMA shows.  Gladius 1 takes place at the Cattaraugus Sports Complex in Irving, land owned by the Seneca Nation Indian tribe.  The show will be websteamed live on GoFightLive.

Don Carlo-ClaussEddie Fyvie faces Don Carlo-Clauss in the main event.  Fyvie has gone 1-1 in the past two years for a total record of 9-5, his statistical weakness being to strikers with three of his five losses being by KO/TKO and the other two by decisions.  Carlo-Clauss had a prominent win over Jacob Kirwan in Bellator in March but suffered a unanimous decision loss to Mike Campbell in August.  Now both of these fighters look to get back some of the hype they had as they face off.
