$14.99 for a webcast pay-per-view is pushing it a little considering the amount of free webcasts around however Ring of Combat have such a good reputation for fighters moving on that ROC 41 is worth it even without the three title fights. ROC 41 took place June 15th at the Tropicana Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ with a webcast archived on GoFightLive.
It took Uriah Hall all three rounds to win the vacant middleweight title in the main event. Basically a classic matchup of striker (Hall) vs. grappler (Kuduxashvili) the fight was close until the third round when Hall gave that little bit extra to win the unanimous decision 29-27 on all three judges’ cards. Hall has now won three in a row and sits on a 7-2 overall record.
By contrast Jimmie Rivera had a much more dominant performance against Justin Hickey for the bantamweight title by unanimous decision while Guillermo Serment stunned James Jenkins early followed by a guillotine choke for the featherweight title. In the light heavyweight title fight Ed Gordon defeated Carlos Brooks for the light heavyweight title 30-27 on two cards and 29-28 on the third.
