For the first time in 21 events JEWELS placed a kickboxing bout as "The Main Event" (the headliner).

AZUMA made a pro kick boxing debut when she was just 18 years old. And after over 25 pro fights, at age 24, she is the very first New Japan Kick Boxing's BONITA BOZEO featherweight. Former karate-ka from Kyokushi Kaikan is a popular fighter among Japan's women's kick boxing fans because of her powerful strikes. She is known for scoring more than few knock downs in her fight.

In this fight against Sung-Eun Kim, she took control from the beginning by using knee and elbow shots from Muay Thai clinch. At the end of second round she looked very comfortable, even tried fancy moves like heel drop.

In the final round Kim did try few moves like spinning back-hand, however, AZUMA had no trouble capturing a Korean into Muay Thai clinch. From there, AZUMA landed many knee shots to the body.

Kim is not a push over. She was rookie of the year in 2010 for both International Kick Boxing Association and Korean Muay Thai Federation. In 2011 she won San Da national title at under 56 kg, then also became Korean MMA Federation's champion at under 54 kg.

However, this was a obvious win for AZUMA.

And, in November, she is confirmed to fight a world title fight in M-1, so this fight turned out to be a good tune-up fight and, probably, a good confident booster.

In MMA bouts, Mika Nagano scored submitted a Judo prodigy Tomo Maezawa, and Shizuka Sugiyama knock down Yurika Tanaka three times in little over 6 minutes, to win via TKO.
