Alessio (34-16) being a free agent had many options on where to sign, however, when the final decision had to made he chose the Aggression Fighting Championships. "The AFC and John Alessio have been speaking about this opportunity for years and now it has finally come to fruition. John Alessio has fought for many of the major MMA promotions, including the UFC, WEC, PRIDE, DREAM and now the AFC.
