For the last few years Alliance Team has won every major competition title in the World. After watching his team split into several others a few years back, Alliance leader Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti re-grouped with his top guys and set forth a master plan to become the powerhouse that his team is currently. To complete the mission "Jacare" has now opened his training center in Atlanta, GA and launched an on line training class. team splits With several World, Pan, European and Nationals titles there can be no question they're doing something very well so we wanted to speak with "Jacare" to find out what's happening with him and Alliance

KP- You just opened the new Training Center, what did that mean to you?
RJC
- It was a historical moment for Alliance and for me, a dream come through, to own my own training center, my own building, no more rent payments

KP- How is the new academy doing now?
RJC-
It's doing great, we have classes that are completely full and many new programs etc

KP- You have also launched a new online program, how is yours different from the others
RJC-
Our online instructional program is complete. It works for someone who is a total beginner all the way to the advanced student and it is excellent at all levels. The difference is in the content is very complete, the instruction is high level

KP- You have trained US Special Forces for quite some time now how has that helped them and  you
RJC-
I helped the program develop the instructors and students from the beginning, now they have Jiu-Jitsu as their base and that makes me real happy. They have supported me and all of my efforts along the way and we have developed a friendship and a lot of respect for each other

KP- In the last few years your team Alliance is the most successful competition team conquering just about every major title. To what you attribute the team's success
RJC-
It is a credit to the tireless hard work and organization that we have and to the respect between all members, instructors and students. We've also learned from our past mistakes too

KP- How is your instructors program?
RJC
- Our program certifies our instructors to teach in our system. We have around 100 associated academies around the World and we believe it is very important for them to learn our teaching methodology and our rich history

KP- You are one of the few Black belts from Rolls Gracie what does that mean to you?
RJC-
It means everything. I am so proud to have been his student. I know that wherever he is he is happy, not only with me but with everyone that follows his teachings

KP- Anything else you want to add?
RJC-
I want to thank you for this opportunity and to say that I am happy and complete with the realization that through Jiu-Jitsu I've been able to help others to achieve their dreams as well
