Luiz AzeredoSo far Luiz Azeredo has been known as a “gatekeeper” from his time in Pride through Bellator. Azeredo holds a win over Paul Daley in Cage Rage no less but lsot to Mikhail Malyutin in ROC and Rene Nazare in Bellator. Over the last two years Azeredo has only fought twice going 1-1 in Bellator with a win over Eduardo Guedes followed by the loss to Nazare.
Chris Liguori Liguori is a legend in Atlantic City but doesn’t seem interested in moving up with his last seven fights (6-1 of his 15-9 overall career) being in ROC and most recently CFFC. In CFFC Liguori defeated Don Carlo-Clauss and Gert Kocani in his last two fights. Both these fighters are excellent grapplers while Liguori is thought of as having the edge in conditioning.
Artur RofiThe co-main event is even better with the return of Artur Rofi. Rofi has been getting a lot of attention not just for being 5-0 but for doing so in a very aggressive manner with all five going no further than the second round. Rofi’s speed in transitions has led to his last four ending by submission,
Lester Caslowmost recently with a triangle choke of Evan Chmielski in April. Lester Caslow is much more experienced at 8-7 but his win in ROC over Brian van Hooven brought his 2012 record to 1-2 and his 1-2 record in Bellator is what he is mainly known for. This should be a great test of Rofi and Caslow can pull off a win but it appears to be a chance for Rofi to be grown more.
