Deerfield Beach, FL
- As top Blackzilian Eddie Alvarez spends his last day in camp to prepare for his fight in Ontario this Friday, two of his teammates who just fought three days ago will back in the gym and by his side. Michael "The Menace" Johnson and Luis "Buscape" Firmino, who fought successfully this past weekend, will work with Alvarez along with the rest of the Blackzilians right up to the last minute.

"The Blackzilians work together as a team and as a family," said Glenn Robinson, President of Authentic Sports Management, the managing sports agency for all the Blackzilians. "I'm so proud of Michael Johnson and Luis Buscape for working so hard to get their victories, but I'm even more proud of the way they come right back and support the team. The team has grown so much that now we have a Blackzilian fighting almost every weekend, and so everyone goes right back to the gym to support the guy who's heading out to battle. It's what makes the Blackzilians special, and it shows the heart of the team."

Johnson, who just returned from Minneapolis for the UFC on FX 5 event, brings home a second round KO over Danny Castillo. Johnson also earned high praise from UFC President Dana White and the UFC's Knockout of the Night honors for his much talked about come from behind victory. This past Saturday, Firmino fought tough opponent Toby Imada to a decision victory at Championship Fighting Alliance's CFA 8 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Fla.

"This was a huge win for Buscape and the way he fought shows how much he has grown this past year," said Robinson. "Michael Johnson has never looked better. This kid proved his rank this past weekend, he has everyone's attention now and I don't think it will be long before he's in title contention."

Johnson and Buscape's teammate Eddie Alvarez (23-3) will depart from Florida tomorrow to take on Patricky Freire in the headlining main event for Bellator Fighting Championships 76 this Friday night, Oct. 12. The rising lightweight is coming off a first round KO over Shinya Aoki. Alvarez's fight can be seen live on MTV2 network starting at 8:00 p.m. ET.
