Royler and Royce Gracie just finished conducting a celebrateory seminar in memory of their father Grandmaster Helio Gracie The seminar took place in Houston at Wizzard Batatinha Xavier's Academy. The event was great with lots of techniques and videos and stories of the Grandmaster.

CheckMat Team in Malaysia
Black Belt Chico Mendes, one of the leaders of the CheckMat Team is visiting their Malaysia Academy for one month. Chico is conducting classes at the new Checkmat Malaysia academy, Bornei BJJ.
Malaysia is CheckMat's headquarters for Asia and is coordinated by former ADCC arab champion Marcos Escobar. Following the stay at the headquarters Chico goes to the U.K. to visit associated academies there coordenated by professors Eduardo Azevedo & Thiago "Monstro".

19, 2009, Gustavo Dantas and the 2009 AZ State Champion, Bob Merriman, a Brown
Belt under GD, will begin teaching BJJ classes at East/West MMA in east Mesa.
For the inaugural class, Gustavo will be teaching a FREE
Seminar for white belts on November 19th from 7:30 – 9:00 pm. The
seminar is open to everyone. Here is the class
