BJJ Tip By Rodrigo "Comprido" Medeiros
Two times World Absolute Champion Rodrigo "Comprido" Medeiros gives us the BJJ Tip of the day. Rodrigo was one of the youngest BJJ'ers to win the Absolute title and one of the few to winn it in 2 consecutive years:. His tip today is for physical training
"Whenever possible use the Gi in the weight room. Try putting the Gi in each machine in a way that you use the normal Gi. This will quickly develop a super strong grip. Of course there are some exercises you can't use the Gi but after you try you will not only notice the difference but also find new applications."
Promotions at Central Oahu BJJ
Kai Garcia does not hand out belts easily, quite the opposite, so when 3 of his top dogs get Black Belts you know it is special. Yesterday at Central Oahu BJJ, Kai promoted Kerry Attwood, Dylan Baker and Eric Goo to such honor. All these guys have been training for a LONG time and have shown great dedication to the art. Personal friends of mine, Kerry is a full time lifeguard at Waimea Bay, Dylan a Honolulu Policeman that somehow find the time ad energy to train. Goo a full time instructor for many years and fully dedicated to BJJ as well

For the fifth time Danish Open BJJ is held in Hillerød Denmark. This year it is going to bigger and better, with 6 mats.
