(Mojo Horne working on submission)
The growth of MMA on TV isn’t just limited to the likes of Strikeforce and
Bellator, it is now encompassing the entire scene as evidenced by MMA Big Show “All
or Nothing” July17th on DirecTV channel 354. This show which took place at the Belterra
Casino Resort & Spa in Indiana was a mix of amateur and professional fights
with a surprising level of skill for a show this size.
In the main event former MMA Big Show middleweight champion Mojo Horne not only
defeated Lucas Lopes, he did so by submitting the ATT fighter by rear naked
choke. Also on the card Bellator vet
Mike Fleniken got back on the winning streak with a rear naked choke over Danny
Surface, Scott Cornwell defeated James Baumgardner, and Chris Bennett won over
Brad Smith.
What was surprising about this show is considering the amount of amateur fights
the production values were surprisingly high.
If one were to expect a show the likes of Wild Bill’s Fight Night they
would be surprised. This show actually
looked better than many IFC and Extreme Challenge shows which have all pro
cards. Look for the next show in
September to be even better.
