“Reckless Abandon” was an apt title to KOTC’s February 2nd show at the San Manuel Casino in Highland, CA as both title fights were exciting if lacking technical prowess.  No word is currently available on when this show will be broadcast as a pay-per-view.

Marvin Garcia is an aggressive wrecking ball of a fighter but for the first four rounds Frank Baca managed to outmaneuver Garcia en route to a unanimous decision in the main event.  Baca in now 14-1 and is on a nine-fight win streak with his sole loss being for the 125-pound title against Mamoru Yamaguchi two years ago.

In the co-main event Tony Lopez defended his heavyweight title by absorbing the punishment dished out by Rob Jackson until the opportunity for a head kick for the KO presented itself.  Lopez hit a rocky spot in his record last year picking up losses in JMMAS and Fight Time but is now on a five-win streak over the past four months.
