The eventtook place at the Hamilton Place Theatre in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. On the day of the event Sherdog.com announcedwebcasting the event live however as of this writing videos from each fight arenot archived on Sherdog as usual.
Alessio had the sharper striking in round 1 while Healy took round 2, bothrounds being mainly standup scoring. Inround 3 Alessio changed strategies taking Healy down and taking his backtwice. Unable to finish either time hewas in a dominant position in round 3 Alessio took the unanimous decision inwhat could be considered his toughest win since leaving WEC.
In the co-main event Josh Hill remained undefeated with a unanimous decisionover Eric Wilson at bantamweight. Hillstarted out in W-1 MMA and AMMA (see archives) proving himself an up-and-comerto watch with this fight being his biggest opportunity to date.
Also on the card Strong Style’s Forrest Petz picked up his fourth win sinceleaving the UFC with a TKO of Sergej Juskevic. Petz was in trouble in round 1 after being knocked down but he managedto survive the round and turn the tables in round 2 for the TKO.
