The Calgary Sun has reported a heavyweight match up for UFC 149. Former PrideFC and UFC champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will return to action againstCheick Kongo at the event, which takes place in Calgary, Albert, Canada.

Nogueira looked solid early in his rematch against former champion Frank Mir.However, late in the first round, Mir caught "Big Nog" in a Kimuraand finished the fight by breaking the Brazilian's arm. It was the firstsubmission defeat of Nogueira's career.

"Minotauro" seemed to be on the downside of his career after losingthe interim UFC title to Mir at UFC 92. However, since then he has been able topick up solid victories over Randy Couture and Brendan Schaub. For most of hiscareer, Nogueira was considered the second best heavyweight of all time. Heholds victories over Tim Sylvia, Heath Herring, Josh Barnett, Fabricio Werdumand Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.

In his last fight, Kongo has his four-fight unbeaten streak stopped by MarkHunt. However, he still holds a respectable 17-7-2 record as a professional. Hehas defeated Pat Barry, Paul Buentello, "Cro Cop" and Antoni Hardonk.

Rumors surfaced this week that light heavyweight champion Jon Jones couldpossibly defend his title against Dan Henderson at UFC 149.
