Despite a variety of rumors the proposed bout between Kevin “Kimbo Slice”
Ferguson and Matt Mitrione was made official for UFC 113 today by the
promotion. The card will take place on May 8 at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

During the intermission of last Saturday’s Sengoku Raiden Championship 12
lightweight champion Mizuto Hirota announced that he was relinquishing his
championship. The former champion cited injury as his reason for walking away
from the title.
J-Rock the management group behind the upcoming ASTRA event announced the
addition of a featherweight fight. Sengoku featherweight tournament runner-up
Michihiro Omigawa will face off against WEC veteran Micah Miller. The event is
slated for April 25 at the Nippon Budakan in Tokyo.
