Yuki KondoYuki KondoYuki Kondo's opponent is finally confirmed.

After about ten months of break Kondo is ready to take on Kosei Kubota who used to be his team mate at team Pancrase-ism.

Needless to say, these two are veterans. Kondo made a pro debut on January 28th, 1996 and Kubota became pro just a year later, on July 20th. Kondo got 72 pro fights under his belt while Kubota got 57.

Considering how often Pancrase used to set up fights between two from the same team its almost amazing that this is their first encounter. After fighting nearly fifteen years in same promotion, finally, these will meet in the ring.

Back in January of this year, Kondo was dominated by Kenji Nagaki's much superior striking skill. In other words, Kondo's striking has visibly declined. On the other end Kubota is an aggressive brawler who just defeated Hiroki Nagaoka so this is going to be his third fight this year. Kubota has been more active but for a veteran like Kondo, a ten-month break could turn out to be a good rest for his body. This is a fight between two guys who likes to strike so we all know this is going to be an exciting striking battle.
