Bellator isn’t the only MMA action Friday as AXS broadcasts XFC 20 at the same time.  XFC 20 takes place at the Knoxville Auditorium and Coliseum, the live broadcast starts at 8 PM ET.  It may not be nearly as good a card as Bellator but given the history of XFC the show is worth checking out.

Eric ReynoldsEric ReynoldsBellator vet Eric Reynolds seems to have finally found a home as he makes his third XFC appearance fighting Danny Salinas in the main event.  Reynolds defeated Jonatas Novaes and Luciano Dos Santos in his first two XFC bouts, both by unanimous decision bringing his record to 15-5.  Still known mainly for his Bellator losses to Eddie Alvarez and Jorge Masvidal another way to look at Reynolds is he has since gone 4-2.  Salinas is making his XFC debut on a loss to Mike Bronzoulis in May and is 10-4 overall.

Chris CogginsChris CogginsIn the co-main event Chris Coggins faces Scott Holtzman.  Bellator vet Coggins at 6-3 is much more experienced than 2-0 Holtzman but is coming off a relatively high-profile loss to Zach Underwood in BFC 73, this being his XFC debut.  Hometown hero Holtzman’s win s have both been in XFC, a rear-naked choke of Brandon Demastes in February and a TKO of Matt Metts in June.
