Derrick Lewis
The main event is apparently off Friday’s Legacy Fighting Championship 13 card as Will Campuzano vs. Jeremy Flick is no longer on the promotion’s website however Jared Rosholt vs. Derrick Lewis for the heavyweight title is arguably equally as good. LFC 13 takes place at the Dallas Convention Center with a main card televised live on AXS TV.
Jared RosholtJared Rosholt is less experienced than his older brother Jake but Jared is 4-0 with his career starting in February 2011. So far Jared’s biggest fight has been a TKO of Kirk Grinlinton in TFC 18, technically his only TKO win as two of his three submission wins were submission to strikes. Jared’s only fight to go outside the first round was his second-round keylock win over Ray Clayton in May 2011, an angle that brings up his as yet untested conditioning. Lewis has gone the distance twice in his 7-2-1 career however both those fights including his sole Bellator fight were losses, his wins have been six by TKO and one by armbar. This fight has “swing for the fences” written all over it, the key being if Rosholt tries to hit a takedown and if so how successful he is.
