RUFF 5 weigh in recap

All 26 fighters easily made weight at the RUFF 5 weigh in, each athlete clearing the required measurements: 57kg, 61kg, 66kg, 70kg, 93kg; on their first attempt.

While the results of the weigh in were routine, the ensuing events were anything but the usual business, as featherweights Dong YanJun and Wu ChengJie nearly came to blows during a heated stare down.

Tempers seemed to be flaring all around the featherweight division, as Sandro da Silva and Xue GuoBin also partook in a heated exchange.

Doctors were on hand to medically clear all fighters.

The Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation presents RUFF 5 tomorrow night, September 8.
