
After almost seven-hour of deliberation at the court on July 2nd, Buakaw Por.Pramuck settled issues with his long-time association Por.Pramuck gym and he will be back fighting.
In March, Buakaw disappeared because of a disagreement he had with the owner of Por.Pramuck gym. Then the media reported the issues between two parties were settled. However, on May 31st, the third meeting between Bukaw and the owner of Por.Pramuch gym was held, in public, with media and military officials as observers. At this meeting both sides couldn't reach to the agreement therefore Bukaw declared his retirement from the sport.
Buakaw explained he felt the retirement was necessary to stop all these turmoils.
However, things didn't end there.
THAI FIGHT, Muay Thai promotion that had a multi-fight contract with Buakaw filed a lawsuit against Por.Pramuck gym because the promoter of major Muay Thai show felt Buakaw now can not full fill his contract with THAI FIGHT just because of Por.Pramuck gym. And Por.Pramuck gym filed a counter suit against THATI FIGHT so it was getting extremely messy.
Therefore, everyone was gathered at the courthouse on Monday and the issued was settle with following conditions.
A 60-day suspension placed on Bukaw's fighter's license is now removed. In regards to commission Bukaw has to pay to Por.Pramuck gym, both parties agreed at 40% to the gym for fights in Thailand and 25% for fights outside Thailand.
Now Buakaw is cleared to get back into the ring and he is scheduled to fight in THATI FIGHT. In this fight his ring name is still going to be "Buakaw Por.Pramuck" yet he will be training at the other gym, not at the Por.Pramuck gym for this fight.
