UVC, NAAFS postpone shows this weekend

Two shows this weekend have been cancelled with UVC 21 and NAAFS Cage Fury 19 both falling by the wayside.  UVC 21 was supposed to take place in Columbus, OH while NAAFS was to take place in Morgantown, WV, both on the same date September 15th.

According to NAAFS the event was due to be webcast on GoFightLive was postponed “indefinitely…due to recent complications that have arisen with the West Virginia Athletic Commission”.  The main issue reportedly is the commission failed to approve any of the matches as of one week out causing uncertainty with the OH-based promotion.  A secondary issue regarding if the commission would have enough officials was also raised.  NAAFS’ October 20th show also scheduled for WV has also been scrapped with those fighters moved to other cards.

UVC 21 has been postponed until October 6th.  No information is available at this time regarding if the fight card and venue stay the same but refunds are available.
