"Night of Champions" takes place Dec. 7 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Tennessee. The main card will air live on AXS TV.

Reynolds began his career with nine-straight victories. However, he has mostly scuffled when given opportunities. He went 1-2 with losses coming against Eddie Alvarez and Jorge Masvial during a three-fight Bellator stint in 2009. Recently, Reynolds has turned his career around. He is currently riding a three-fight winning streak under the XFC banner highlighted by a victory over fellow Bellator vet Lorenzo Borgomeo in his last outing.

Newell made his professional debut in 2009. The Fighting Arts Academy fighter has quickly built a 9-0 record despite the fact that he was born with a partially formed left arm. During his collegiate wrestling days, Newell roomed with professional wrestler Curt Hawkins. In his last fight, Newell bested David Mays with a first-round knee knockout.

Also at XFC 21, TUF veteran Corey Hill will take on Bellator veteran Ryan Thomas in a welterweight bout.
